Dear Member:
We are so proud to share that we have a newly extended Covid-19 Safety Agreement, through April 30, 2022. The new Agreement keeps in place the strong and effective workplace protocols and protections that have allowed for a sustained and successful return to work over the past year and a half, and has added enhancements including:
- Improved PPE – Masks are now required to be N95, KN95, or KF94, or in the limited circumstances where there are fit issues, a surgical mask.
- Replenished Sick Leave – As part of this extension, the 10 days of Covid-19 paid sick leave provided per producer will be replenished as of February 14, 2022 and can be used through September 30, 2022
- Boosters/Vaccines – Effective 3/15/2022 in the U.S., and 4/1/2022 abroad, individuals will need to be “up to date” on their vaccinations, including boosters, to be considered “fully vaccinated” under this Agreement. Additionally, the new Agreement has added two vaccines to its approved list: Novavax and AstraZeneca (as long as individuals have received at least three doses of these approved vaccines).
As a reminder, we previously gained, and have upheld in this Agreement, triggers that relax PPE and testing protocols for fully vaccinated workers in areas with lower Covid-19 transmission rates. More information can be found here.
