As part of the COVID-19 Return to Work Agreement, the Industry Unions and Producers negotiated a COVID-19 Prevention Training Course (C19). This training is one of many requirements Employers must implement to create a safer work environment during the pandemic and DGA members should have received emails detailing information about this course.
For Directors:
This one-time, 25-minute online course that covers the COVID-19 prevention basics is now available to employers who will provide it to you and the crew, including DGA, SAG, IA and Teamsters. Successful completion of this training is a prerequisite for employment. Your employer is obligated to provide access to this training and must initiate the training on your behalf. If your employer has not provided this training or if they have any questions regarding the training, please forward them this link: https://www.csatf.org/covid19/prevention.
While most employers provide their own company COVID-19 prevention training, this industry-wide course is separate, and completion of this course is required for DGA members to work under the Basic Agreement and FLTTA Contracts. For All Other DGA Categories:
The C19 course is mandatory for all individuals working under the DGA Basic Agreement (BA) or Freelance Live & Tape Television Agreement (FLTTA) and will be administered by Contract Services (CSATF). We encourage you to take the training right away.
If you work exclusively in Commercials or in Network News and Sports, this specific training may not be required.
If you DO NOT have an online account with Contract Services, you can access the training as follows:
- Go to the Contract Services Login page at https://portal.csatf.org
- To register a new account, click the Create One Now button.
- Enter your Last Name, Industry Link Number (look up using your SSN) and the last 4 digits of your SSN.
Note: Contract Services will have your personal information on file, including your SSN if you successfully completed the DGA Safety Pass Training. - Create a Username and Password and set up security questions and answers.
- Once you accept the terms, click the Register button.
- Review your contact information, then click Confirm.
- Proceed to COVID-19 Prevention Training.
If you already have an account with Contract Services, you can access the training as follows:
- Go to www.csatf.org
- Select Portal Sign-In.
- Log In.
- Proceed to COVID-19 Prevention Training.
- For your convenience, this course is optimized for delivery on a mobile device or smartphone, as well as a desktop computer.
